About Verre

What we are

Verre Skincare is a small independent shop based in the United States. We don't own a laboratory. We source finished formulas from manufacturers, put our name on them, and sell them to you. Plenty of brands work this way and don't say so. We'd rather say so.

What we know and what we don't

If you read our product pages you'll notice something unusual: some of them have a section headed What we don't know.

That's deliberate. For several products we can tell you the ingredients but not the exact concentration of the active. We've asked our manufacturer. Until they answer, we're not going to print a percentage we can't stand behind, and we're not going to let the omission read as though we're hiding something. When we get the number, it goes on the page.

This costs us sales. A competitor writing “clinical-strength 20% vitamin C” will convert better than us writing “we've asked and we'll tell you when we know.” We think you'd rather have the second one.

What we won't do

We won't invent reviews. We're a new shop. When you see reviews on this site, they came from people who bought the product. If you don't see many yet, that's because there aren't many yet.
We won't make medical claims. Our products are cosmetics. They aren't drugs and they don't treat conditions. Anything that reads like a cure is a lie, wherever you read it.
We won't make returns difficult. If a product doesn't suit you, email us within 30 days and we refund you. You keep the bottle. There's no form and no restocking fee.
